Meet Grace

I'm Grace Simon, your neighbour and Newmarket Ward 1 Councillor.

As a Newmarket Resident of over 30 years, I feel very honoured to both live and work in this fantastic growing community. 

Newmarket has been rated in the "Top Ten" Best Communities to live in Canada!

I love living and working in such a thriving area. I want to be elected as your Ward 1 Councillor because I feel that I will be a strong voice and secure representation for the present and future developments of our social services, parks, public facilities and safety for our communities. While working alongside others to accomplish what is in the Best interest of our community. 

As an Entrepreneur it is my vision to create teams of like-minded people working together in successful businesses and creative settings while mentoring and training others from the community to be given opportunity for their own creative plans for success.

My personal strengths are vision, communication, futuristic planning with creativity and collaboration. I believe that nothing is accomplished well without others. Everything worthwhile is Uphill and Everything Rises and Falls from Leadership. I love people and it is my utmost desire to continue to be that expression of love for humanity, family and community through everything that I put my hands to.

I believe as a woman, mother of four, wife and professional I have the responsibility to live out my best life expression through defending and caring for the vulnerable and seeing justice and safety being carried out with for every citizen of this community.
